That's one lucky snake. I would have been screaming for them to shoot it. Shoot it NOW. Cut if OFF. Detonate if necessary.
Afterwards, I might have felt sorry for it, though. It was only doing what snakes do when it's time to eat.
I suppose it all depends on perspective. This lady knew how much the snake was worth and figured a few bullet holes would cut the resale value significantly.
Of course, being eaten alive brings its own perspective to any situation.
Me, or snake? Hmm...
