Agent!

After meeting Scott Hoffman at the Pike’s Peak Writer’s Conference and submitting an urban fantasy novel to him, he’s offered representation! I’ll be working with Folio Lit agency, and am excited beyond belief to have reached this next step in my writing career. Must now go jog a few miles to burn off all the jitters…

Thanks, all! The reality is still sinking in, and I'm looking forward to following the process on the blog. Lots of new and fun experiences ahead.

I came over because JJ's one of the few people I keep on my RSS feed – but hey! A fellow Denverite (yeah, I'm closer to Boulder, whatever.) Congratulations, what fantastic news!

Also – do you know Betsy Dornbusch? If you don't, you should: sexscenesatstarbucks.blogspot.com. (OMG, I think I just pimped a friend. Don't take that the wrong way, now.)

Hold it. Are you the Josh that won the – damn, what was the title – about the stark tree in a Clarity of Night contest a couple of years ago? WHY did I never put that together???

Everyone refrain from blonde comments, please.

Heya, Aerin, I do know Betsy (though admittedly mostly through her blog name) and yes, I've been in quite a few of the Clarity of Night flash fiction contests over the years. I think the specific one you're thinking of was the “Whispers” photo. Thanks for dropping by!
