While it can relate to other contexts in life, I find this pretty accurate when it comes to hearing feedback, whether from a writing critique group, beta readers, or reviews in general.

I guess this is why a lot of authors simply try to ignore reviews altogether (but we never really can, can we?). What’s your experience with this?
